Son of Nun - Provocative, political, and personal hip hop that speaks truth to power

Sanits of Everyday Failures - Saints of Everyday Failures make music for the people - live and direct, loud and clear, blunt and revealing - body, mind, heart and soul music. MCs ePrhyme and D-scribe combine with MyLeftFoot on the beats to form the inner circle of the Saints. Every song is an attempt to understand and inspire. Every show is an opportunity to experience self and social transformation. Saints represent hip hop that is not afraid to mean something. With patience, pathos and perseverence, the Saints are preparing to bring their music and message to a global audience. Their latest album, State of the Art is Failure, hit the streets early 2006. D-scribe's solo debut - Strategies for Shattered Dreams, featuring production by Hostalion's I.Q., released in Dec. 2006, is scheduled for re-release in fall of 2007. Next Saint's release: ePrhyme's Wayword Wonderwill.

Ryan Harvey - I got into writing music and lyrics through punk bands like Rancid, Crass, Operation Ivy, Conflict, Aus-Rotten along with local bands like Chaotix. After hearing radical folk music I realized how good an avenue it is for social change. Punk bands have a history of socially active songs and messages and I wanted to relate that anger and urgency through the easy medium of the acoustic guitar. I always wanted to be in a punk band but it was always too hard to find a drummer and a practice space and keep up energy...but now I love acoustic shit anyways.

I consider my music and songs as much a part of my activism as I do an event I would help put together. I'm not really interested in opening my soul to the masses or putting my emotions on the line. I also never developed the type of writing style where I could open up as to better understand my emotions. I'm not at all opposed to emotional music but there is a fine line between emotional seriousness and self-indulgence. I think a good song-writer who combines politics and very personal stories and reflections together in a way that people can relate to, find beauty in, and gain inspiration can really help you deal with hard times and stay grounded emotionally.

Ancient Heads (if anyone has more info on them, please put it in the comments and it will be added)

Eastern Sunz - Eastern Sunz shed light on political and environmental issues that fail to be addressed by most rap artists today. Originally hailing from Oregon and currently residing in Seattle, the Sunz are rapidly building a solid fan base and gaining respect throughout the West Coast for their unique approach to hip-hop. Formed in 2001, the Sunz have since released four full-length albums and performed with numerous artists including KRS-One, Blackalicious, Living Legends, J-Live, The Coup, and have toured with Rahzel and Andre Nickotina. In 2007 Eastern Sunz released their fourth album, Nine Traingles.

I hope it went well. It

I hope it went well. It sounds like it was a great even. Would have liked to have been there.
